Description Mark Gonnelly 2008-11-18 01:57:48 UTC
No flash support after installing from Gnome Live CD as expected

zypper in flash-player

Still no flash support - not expected

zypper in nspluginwrapper

Flash applets appear on pages (eg innerweb.novell.com) but are blank - not expected.

I understand that flash on x86_64 is problematic, but I think it is reasonable to expect it to work if it is available in the repositories.

These might be different issues:

- flash-player not installed by default
- nspluginwrapper not installed by default

- Flash not working for some reason which is no general issue since it
  works for most people

People reported that installing libcurl4-32bit fixed "grey flash applets" for them. Please try and report back.
