The /boot directory is on na XFS filesystem. System will not boot.
This issue should be fixed, although system booted after installation.
Attached snapshot and yast logs.

Stanislav it is only warning. It inform you that it is not good idea.

GNU GRUB bootloader can't be installed on a XFS partition, because both need sector 0. -> this is cause of warning ;-) It can happend that it works but you can never be sure.

Guys, I've posted this same problem to the dev mailing list and understand this was a drive to give warnings about configurations that may be a problem. Since you say above that it is ONLY a warning do you think we can change the wording to 'may' not work instead of 'will' not work? There are at least 3 others on the list doing exactly what it says won't work and have been doing so for many years so obviously it's not entirely correct.

Or is there a really good reason that we don't know of that this should absolutely not be done?

I think it´s good idea to change "will" to "may".
Users won´t be confused.

It seems that grub works with XFS if installed in the MBR and it was stated that this can cause a problem on certain laptops.
Shouldn't the warning reflect this information rather than discouraging people from using XFS?

I agree and I can change it in next release or SP because of textfreeze

There exist other bug where is described also problem with XFS and some type of partitioning of disk. I propose select the bug like duplicate of bug #469535 and add comment that warning message about using XFS have to be rewritten and check more bootloader settings e.g. location etc.
