Oscar, please read http://en.opensuse.org/Bugs/Definitions#Setting_and_Changing_Priorities_and_Severities. You should not set Priority!

Please check the information at:
http://en.opensuse.org/Tracking_down_wireless_problems and attach logfiles.

For what it's worth, I think I was seeing the same bug this morning. It looks like no default route and no name servers are being set from DHCP. Wireless is actually working fine - can get on network, ping gateway, add route manually etc.
This worked OK on beta 5 but broke immediately after updating to RC1. Not at affected machine right now but will attach logs later if necessary.
Comment 6 Mark Gonnelly 2008-11-29 18:19:43 UTC
I was able to check the machine again and discovered that the problem also affected wired connections. Looking at the /var/log/messages I saw this

Nov 29 11:08:08 triona dhclient: /var/run/nm-dhclient-eth0.conf line 28: no opti
on named network-number in space dhcp

I edited /etc/dhclient.conf and removed network-number from the list of requested options and restarted the network. Everything works again. Of course, this may not be the issue the original reporter had.

Comment 9 Tambet Ingo 2008-12-01 08:51:41 UTC
/etc/dhclient.conf comes from dhcp-client package.

FYI: The dhclient.conf fix is included in the openSUSE:Factory package at:
