On a multiboot system containing partitions and file systems for openSUSE 11.0 (/dev/sda7) sled10 (/dev/sda8) sled11beta (/dev/sda10) I installed openSUSE 11.1-RC1 / by reformatting /dev/sda8 with ext3 While the previous sled11beta installation did create its own Grub menu.lst with boot options for the other existing root file systems, openSUSE 11.1-RC1 did only create a menu.lst for booting itself. Afterwards I therefore had to edit this menu.lst and manually add the two first sections for boot options for openSUSE 11.0 and sled11beta as follows (should have been done automatically): # Modified by YaST2.
