zypper offers 'a' (abort) as choice, but it doesn't abort if I press 'a'.
It just goes on, and I need to ctrc-c it to stop it.
(the Apache on powerpc.opensuse.org is in fact fine, I just stopped it for this test)

I had that too. Tried to install amarok, but the dvd wasn't in the drive. Hence zypper spat errors at me, but it refused to abort until I frantically pressed ctrl+c ;-)

Will be fixed with libzypp-5.25.0.
