I've the same problem. I selected KDE3.5 as my default and only desktop environment. KDE4.1 is installed as a result. But it is actually "some kind" of KDE4.1. It is not complete, there is not half of the icons' set, lots of the installed programs don't start as if they are not installed at all. Installation was made, using DVD source (x86_64). And the bug persists in BETA5 also, not only RC1 (That are the two testing versions I've tried so far). The package selection was absolutely by default. Nothing changed. The computer is HP NX9420 rh450ea Laptop, SATA HDD, Ati Mobility x1600, intel core 2 duo t7200. Please attach the YaST log files as explained at http://en.opensuse.org/Bugs/YaST *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 450161 *** |
