Description Atri Bhattacharya 2008-12-01 13:23:35 UTC
The first time I try to update using kupdateapplet it asked for root password and I obliged, but I did not turn on the remember root password option. Even though I had left the remember root password disabled, kupdateapplet does not ask for root password (same login session running) for subsequent update installations.

even if relogin?
Comment 2 Atri Bhattacharya 2008-12-01 14:22:22 UTC
No, on re-login it does ask for root password. On entering the password it gives an error and the update fails. Now check for updates again and try installing them. Root password is no longer asked for.
