Hostnames under Network Services in YaST allows you to add host entries just fine, but deleting entries only appears to work.  Going back into Hostnames reveals that they have not been deleted.  They can only be removed by editing /etc/hosts manually.

Yeah, the items are deleted from the table, but the change is not propagated to the config file :(

Will be fixed in yast2-network 2.17.62. The fix will most likely not make openSUSE 11.1 final release, but might be released as online update later.
