Please show the exact error messages. You can also run in the installed system "rpm --verify package". On the installed system: # rpm --verify cups # rpm --verify hal # rpm --verify ntp # rpm --verify postfix S.5....T c /etc/postfix/main.cf S.5....T c /etc/postfix/master.cf # I'll add screenshots from the GUI installer below. Jan, let's handle postfix here only. Could you create different bugreports - one for each package? This is nothing critical but should be fixed anyhow... Ok, I opened 3 new reports. cups: bug 457104 hal: bug 457105 ntp: bug 457106 I understand now that the "unreadable" fourth column is actually from rpm --verify. It would be good to indicate that in the log window. Something like "Output generated from rpm --verify PACKAGE" would have pointed me in the right direction. Initially I suspected a problem with the width of the GUI column that garbled the output to dots (since dots are a common way to abbreviate long lines in Yast). Both files are configuration files, which have to been configured after the system is installed. The configuration depends on the setup of the workstation or server resp. Therefore I think this is not a bug. |
