Description Jan van Male 2008-12-07 14:55:18 UTC
(Split off from bug 456981 as requested by Andreas Jaeger)

On the installed system I see no problem:
# rpm --verify hal
#

Rebooting from the RC1 DVD into "Repair Installed System"
-> "Expert Tools" -> "Verify Installed Software" reports a
problem in hal, illustrated by the attached screenshots.

Checking "hal" and selecting "Repair" has no effect.

I have no idea what's the problem here is or what I can do here. Especially since rpm --verify shows no error msg.
Comment 4 Danny Al-Gaaf 2008-12-07 20:18:36 UTC
Reassign it to yast2 since I have no clue why yast show an error while rpm don't.
Comment 5 Michael Andres 2008-12-08 17:13:21 UTC
Unifying the verification bugs for cups hal and ntp, as they seem to have a common cause.
