Description Jan van Male 2008-12-07 15:06:03 UTC
(Split off from bug 456981 as requested by Andreas Jaeger)

On the installed system I see no problem:
# rpm --verify ntp
#

Rebooting from the RC1 DVD into "Repair Installed System" -> "Expert Tools" -> "Verify Installed Software" reports a problem in ntp, illustrated by the attached screenshots.

Checking "ntp" and selecting "Repair" does not change the above situation: the same problem is reported again.

Unifying the verification bugs for cups hal and ntp, as they seem to have a common cause.
