kr.pool.ntp.org works fine. Also file /usr/share/YaST2/scrconf/etc_ntp.scr has wrong comments inside, it says it's cups printer agent. It turns out I forgot to check the server list for currentness, so there may be other skeletons in this closet. Apart from that, there is code to offer kr.pool.ntp.org but it fails to work because Korea is missing from data/country.ycp :-/ Also, would it be difficult to add "abort" option for testing and synchronize-now? Timeout is rather long and much of the point of testing is to see whether the server is there and responsive. Submitted yast2-ntp-client-2.17.11: - Removed a server reported nonfunctional. - Offer CC.pool.ntp.org for countries that do not have any other server. Comment 5 is a sensible request but stupidly enough we do not have a library function for this thing, so for the time being no Abort button. Update released for: yast2-ntp-client Products: openSUSE 11.1 (i586) |
