Description Forgotten User WYqD73zI_T 2008-12-14 19:59:58 UTC
In various modules of yast2, the text is not complete in the left.
ex in the firewall module : "StarUp" is complete but "Custom Ru..." not ????
It's the same everywhere

Is it possible to have a tree view ?
I prefere some icone with text but you haven't got any time

Yast2 with kde

I take just an example.
You can use some icones and texts as preference in firefox 1.x

NB :I think, it is better to have a withe background under the title "Firewall Configuration : Start-Up"
NB2 : The better is to have the same design as during the installation .....

yast2 KDE is less beautiful than in gnome :(
Why ???
An other bug :
a nice visual bug is to click on a link in the left and to do a drag and drop down

Reassign to yast2-maintainers.

Thanks for your bug report.

Which version of 'yast2-qt' is installed on your system?
(Note: Typing 'rpm -q yast2-qt' tells the installed version.)
Comment 7 Forgotten User WYqD73zI_T 2009-01-02 14:18:59 UTC
Linux-JP:/home/jpmartin # rpm -q yast2-qt
yast2-qt-2.17.23-1.5

Could you please try the package 'yast2-qt-2.18.3' from my build service repo:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/tgoettlicher/openSUSE_11.1/

It contains a fix for the column width? Does it fix this bug?

You are right it only affects the tree widget (left plane) in wizard dialogs.

What is 'dnd'?

Anyways, did the mentioned package solve the cropped text bug in firewall module?

drag and drop.
When you select a text in the left and move the mouse.
