I'm not sure how to handle this for 11.1. A regular maintenance update would end up in the Update repo of the build service so that could work for people. Dirk, what do you think? yep, as discussed in person already, we should release an updated rpmlint and post-build-checks that includes those fixes to that they're suppressable. also make sure to submit it to sle11. could you make the check names start with "suse-" ? I once had this idea of auto-suppressing them for the buildservice as non-fatal and only making them fatal in factory builds. I'm not completely sure its a good idea yet, but better make the name of the check consistent first. please coordinate with anja regarding a swampid. I'd like to submit also one or two other fixes for rpmlint with this update. sle11 already has newer rpmlint from factory. No other suse specific check has the suse- prefix atm so I think that would be a bigger task for Factory. I've submitted the same rpmlint file as for sle11 for 11.1 now. submitted rpmlint, post-build-checks and brp-check-suse for 11.1. sle11 only needs post-build-checks for /opt, bug 460077 Update released for: brp-check-suse, post-build-checks, rpmlint Products: openSUSE 11.1 (debug, i586) |
