Launched YaST2 component 'y2base' 'online_update' '-S' 'qt'
2008-12-19 11:39:48
genericfrontend.cc(main):777 Finished YaST2 component 'y2base'
genericfrontend.cc(main):782 Exiting with client return value '1'
ZYppFactory.cc(unLockFile):148 unlocked

Günther, which YaST call do you exactly mean? I don't see anything suspicious, no crash at all, just some errors when YaST tries to read some widget that do not exist (but that also doesn't crash).

I select "filter" PackageGroups and after I select the "LAST" in the List, in German "Alle Pakete"

Then I have to wait .....

sometimes the window have no respond, and I can't close it with the "x"
Comment 4 Lukas Ocilka 2008-12-19 12:42:50 UTC
Ah, I see, reproduced.
Comment 5 Lukas Ocilka 2008-12-19 12:50:53 UTC
2008-12-19 13:41:15 Selecting "All packages"
2008-12-19 13:44:01 Done

BTW only in Qt
* ncurses don't have "All packages"
* GTK is fast like a lightening

It's a duplicate, but thanks for reporting :)

If the selected package is on the SuSe 11.1 installation DVd (not an on-line repository) and the DVD is not in the drive then the process appears to freeze. Entering the DVD into the drive initiates the "try again", "skip" dialog box and continues to completion.
Previous versions brought up a prompt to insert CD/DVD if not present.

On line repositories work OK.
