Description Aaron Digulla 2008-12-20 18:10:40 UTC
When changing the height of the "Kontrollleiste" (KDE3: kicker), the control fights the mouse. Sometimes, the height jumps, sometimes, it lags, sometimes, it doesn't change at all.

Assuming you are talking about KDE4 all the time then the panel is provided by Plasma - not kicker.

Which version of KDE are you using?
Comment 3 Aaron Digulla 2009-02-12 19:20:25 UTC
This is very bad with KDE 4.2. With 4.2.1, it is better: The height follows the mouse but there are two new problems:

- When I open the settings for plasma (by clicking on the icon on the far right), the height of the panel changes. When I have a couple of windows (try four Konsole windows arranged in two rows à two columns) and the panel touches the windows, then resizing the panel will either resize or more the windows.

- Also, part of the background (I have this blue thing with the bubbles) turns black and stays that way (see the attached screenshot).

Partial screenshot showing that the background of the screen turned black.

The background image is called "Luft" (air).
