Description Urs Mueller 2008-12-23 16:27:38 UTC
While installing and configuring iscsi-server (iSCSI Target) and the appropriate yast module, the yast module does not open port 3260 on the SuSEfirewall.

As I understood the main concept of SuSEfirewall2, the installation of the iscsi-server should place a template file under /etc/sysconfig/SuSEfirewall2.d/services. On the configuration of iscsi-server using the yast module (iSCSI Target), the checkbox "Open Port in Firewall" should include the filename into FW_CONFIGURATIONS_EXT of /etc/sysconfig/SuSEfirewall2.

Or at least the port (3260) should be manually added to the config-file.
