Created attachment 262603 [details] Error message in dolphin Mounting a hard disk on eSATA is not possible. If the hard disk is switched on, under KDE 4 a pop up appears with the hard disk partitions. But if I double click on a partition, nothing happens. If I try to mount it in dolphin, an error message occurs (Hal / PermissionDeniedByPolicy). See the attached screenshot. If I try to mount it manually in a terminal via the mount command, the mount command hangs. It don't mount an the terminal session is locked. The eSATA Controoller is a PCI Express card, based on a JMicron chip which works with the ahci driver: 03:00.0 SATA controller: JMicron Technologies, Inc. JMicron 20360/20363 AHCI Controller (rev 02) The ahci driver is loaded and the partition are shown in dolphin, but as I wrote mounting is not possible. Under openSUSE 11.0 this SATA Controller PCI Express card worked without any problems.
