Description Axel Braun 2009-01-01 23:14:28 UTC
new installed 11.1 with KDE 3.5 desktop, /home on a separate encrypted partition taken from a previous 10.3 installation.
After boot the graphical login screen appears. root can log in, but for any other user on the system, the login screen freezes completely after entry of password and <enter>.
Only killing the x-server and console login /startx is possible.
More, the user-pictures entered in the system seetings aren't displayed as well.

Comment 2 Axel Braun 2009-01-04 16:56:49 UTC
The problem was caused by the activated fingerprint reader - it was turned on in YaST, but not used.
I switched it off, not it works.....this should be fixed, though
