Yes. It's a bug of gethostbyname_r. Thanks for report this. fix submited If I minimize the notification window, the stardict can be used as if it hasn't crashed. But if I click "Save Bug Report", the stardict will be closed automaticly. I use the final version, and the bug is here too. When one of the network interfaces is up - program works just fine. Program doesn`t say anything, just crashes. Tested on wireless networks, wired, behind proxy, without, without firewall.
