I have a Samsung E152 laptop.
If I remove the power cord, the system reboots.
The same happens if I try to adjust the brightness via the Fn keys.
(Perhaps this is related, since I would expect the brightness to be adjusted.)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Remove power cord
Actual Results:
Reboot

Expected Results:
Either nothing or lowering the display brightness.

I must boot with acpi=off or the system does not boot at all.

There is a workaround from Bug #436895
If I boot with mem=4G, the system boots correctly and acpi works.
However, only 3G of the 4G are available.
