"requires a deletion and then and edit" Should have been, adding and deleting is necessary to change the cateogory. (In reply to comment #0) > When you try and edit a repository entry, it would be nice to have the current > URL "pasted" into text box, to make small edits. You can copy the URL from the details frame displayed below the table in the main dialog and use it for a new repository. For FTP/HTTP repositories there is "Edit complete URL" check box which displays the URL in single text widget. > As it stands, I'd prefer to just be able to hack a text file than use this GUI > tool, because it takes a while to figure out, ways round it's limitations. Use the files in /etc/zypp/repos.d directory. I think this is fixed in 11.2, by the server & directory dialog. No, that works only for remote repositories (ftp, http, ...). For CD/DVD repository is doesn't work. Yes, you're right about CD/DVD though I have been happy with the copy/paste in now. To be frank, I'm satisfied with the tool improvements, I would not have filed this bug against the 11.2 version, because it's not annoying any more. Thanks! :) Ok, I'm resolving it as WONTFIX as I have too many bugs and I won't probably have time to improve it more. Thank you for your feedback! Thanks for the improvements, I think it's basically fixed. |
