Description Pavol Rusnak 2009-01-16 16:27:09 UTC
When I use System settings for configuring Login manager and choose Oxygen theme on tab (4) Theme, it does not work.

kde4-kdm-branding-openSUSE is installed - openSUSE theme by Jimmac is shown
kde4-kdm-branding-upstream is installed - ugly theme (probably from KDE3 times is shown)

I can confirm this bug.

I don't know how to fix it to switch to the upstream branding automatically after you have installed the package, but this is how I managed to fix it manually:
Change the value of DISPLAYMANAGER_KDM_THEME from SUSE to oxygen and restart kdm. This value you can find under Desktop > Display Manager in /etc/sysconfig Editor.

I can confirm that the solution from Commend #1 works.
