I've updated to KDE 4.2 and still have the same problem. Same here on opensuse 11.1 Adding (or changing) repositories to YaST's software-management is not possible any longer. This intent will be quitted by the following x-message: "YaST got signal 11 at YCP file Wizard.ycp:743 /sbin/yast2: line 437: 6796 Speicherzugriffsfehler $ybindir/y2base $module "$@" "$SELECTED_GUI" $Y2_GEOMETRY $Y2UI_ARGS" The failure appeared after updating some packages including those for KDE 4.2: /KDE4:/Factory:/Desktop/openSUSE_11.1 and /KDE4:/Factory:/Desktop/openSUSE_11.1+Qt45/ I try to add an attachment: y2logs.tgz This is from today. The failure is still the same. I think this ist quite a severe problem since you cannot use YaST2 in some modules. Therefore I changed the severity-status. Created attachment 269074 [details]

Here is the attachment.
Yesterday I upgraded to KDE 4.2 release 90.1 and libqt 4.4.90+20090207-1.1. I'm no longer getting the segmentation fault and YaST appears to be working normally. Closing as FIXED. |
