Description Jeremy Figgins 2009-01-26 01:11:09 UTC
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008121300 SUSE/3.0.5-0.1 Firefox/3.0.5

After configuring my TV card (PVR150) in YaST and immediately re-entering the TV module, I find that my card is listed as "Not configured".

I tried putting a comment in /etc/modprobe.d/tv and re-ran the YaST TV module. After completing, the tv file was 0 bytes - the existing content was erased and not replaced.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to YaST | Hardware | TV.
2. Configure a TV card (PVR150 in my case).
3. Click "OK".
4. Go to YaST | Hardware | TV. The TV card will show as "Not configured".
Actual Results:
/etc/modprobe.d/tv is empty

Expected Results:
/etc/modprobe.d/tv should not be empty, but contain module aliases

The requested information has not been provided, closing as NORESPONSE.

If you can provide the data then reopen.

(It works correctly with a different card which I have.)
