Description yc wang 2009-01-30 14:44:38 UTC
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; zh-CN; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008121300 SUSE/3.0.5-1.1 Firefox/3.0.5

I'd like to change the start mode of the dsl device, so I tried YaST's dsl configuration dialog. There is only one device(dsl0) in the device list, so I selected it and clicked the "Edit" buttom. Then at the bottom of the new window there is a "Activate device" pop-up list, it initially was "Manually" ,then I changed it to "At boot time", then I left other settings unchanged and clicked "OK". However, when I invoked the dialog again, i found the start mode remained "Manually", and the STARTMODE='manual' line in /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-dsl0 was not changed.(I guess it should be modified to take effcet).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.invoke the dsl configuration dialog, for example #yast2 dsl
2.edit a dsl device, change its start mode via the "Activate device" pop-up list
3.leave other settings unchanged and click OK
Actual Results:
the start mode is not changed

Expected Results:
it should be changed
