It was never included iun the normal distribution. but it still lives in the drivers:webcam repository, perhaps it currently dpoes not build there though... assign to its packager. Hm, shouldn't it be included in the normal distribution? How can I figure out who's done the packaging earlier? the buildservice package is done by Robert Schmolke, the bug is assigned to him already. as to why its not included ... hmm, we could have it as KMP , but we prefer to people just get it into the mainline kernel.... Not sure what exactly stopped the inclusion as regular kmp. I see. Thanks! So what will happen? What do I have to do to get the driver? (The driver had also been available for 10.3 - and one can get used to the service, since I never compiled anything myself and am at a loss at what to do.) Closing due to lack of response :( |
