When setting the font attributes in OO calc using format cell the selection window show a language other then the one setup. All options set in Tools-->Options-->Language Settings are set to English - USA.
Under Format Cells-->Font-->Typeface the language is other then English.

Does this happen when you create a fresh new Calc document, or just in some existing document?

This happens in new as well as any old document opened.

Interestingly I see it in the upstream build too. ;-)  And this is not just Calc but in Writer and Draw as well.

Another interesting fact.  This depends on the font; only 'Arial', 'Courier New' and 'Verdana' fonts exhibit this.
