While updating to the current available kernel 2.6.27, I had to downgrade VirtualBox from 2.1.4 to 2.0.6.

Unfortunately, 2.0.6 is not compatible with images lately touched by 2.1.4, so I cannot access my existing VirtualBox image.

I think my 2.1.4 originally came from repo http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Virtualization:/VirtualBox/openSUSE_11.1/ , so probably 2.1.4 would have to be provided for kernel 2.6.27 in that repo.

it should have worked, since it links against openSUSE_11.1:Update

but the build was not retrigerred, perhaps due to high load issues or not.

Dirk, retrigger build on virtualbox-ose ;)

OBS has started to rebuild by itself already. the push of updates trigger a low prio event, so it takes sometimes quite a while (days) until the buildservice notices it.
