Description Ludwig Nussel 2009-03-06 12:31:36 UTC 
- a combined patch for aaa_base and sysvinit called 'aaa_base' was released
- then a patch 'aaa_base' with only aaa_base was released
- there is no rpm relation between aaa_base and sysvinit whatsoever
- newer aaa_base needs tools in newer sysvinit (mkill, vhangup)

=> new installations only install the new aaa_base patch without sysvinit
=> error messages during shutdown about missing vhangup and mkill

Solution: aaa_base needs to require sysvinit > certain version
Workaround: release separate sysvinit patch
Conclusion: never put separate packages in a patch with the name of one of the packages

What exactly should I prepare?  Both packages are submitted to 11.1
for e.g. bug #466484, bug #473043, bug #469242 ...

for sle11 this problem is not so relevant as the fixed sysvinit is already in GA, so we can skip the fix there. 

submitted an aaa_base with a new filereques on /sbin/mkill, that should be good enough.
