The /etc/xinetd.d/git is missing the 'disable = yes' line and is therefore enabled by default.

Also, --base-path="/srv/git" should be --base-path=/srv/git instead (xinetd doesn't parse the quotes).

please disable it by default for future products.

updates for old distros not necessary (until we do another update)
