Description Josef Reidinger 2009-04-29 11:43:38 UTC
Yast2-repair report broken fstab after clean installation ( for floppy and usbfs).

Arvin - I think that storage create initial fstab. Is there any reason why storage doesn't create entries for /media/floppy (/dev/fd0) and usbfs ( /proc/bus/usb)? Is it because it is now handled by hal?

The floppy entry was removed long ago, see bug #144636.

The usb entry is only inserted when the system has USB. Since a system
without USB is unlikely these days it might be a bug that the entry is
missing.

arvin - thanks for info

fix is in svn and will be released in y2-repair-2.18.3
Comment 3 Josef Reidinger 2009-04-29 13:25:16 UTC
just a side-note usb is hardcoded, so problem is in yast2-repair and not in storage and it is already fixed.

released as 2.18.3
