Description Rob Cenname 2009-05-10 16:58:40 UTC
I have narrowed this down to OS. My router and Broadband modem do not drop connection in any other system I use. The drop started after I upgraded the kernel to 2.6.27.21-0.1-pae. I had to do this upgrade so my ATI driver would work. I can bring my network connection back with:
$ ifdown eth0
$ ifup eth0

My network adapter is VIA VT6102 (Rhine-II)
However, it only stays for an hour or so before dropping again.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, thanks for reporting this issue.

I'm unable to reproduce this on openSUSE Leap 42.2 or newer.

As openSUSE 11.2 is no longer supported and there hasn't been any response for more than a year, this issue will be closed.

If you can reproduce this issue using a supported version of openSUSE, please reopen this bug and move it to the appropriate product. Thanks!
