Since updating to G:S:2.26, when I login, I get a bunch of windows saying Error activating XKB configuration and asking for some information to be provided: output of xprop -root | grep XKB and gconftool-2 -R /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/kbd

I just pushed a gdm package to G:S:2.26. Can you check you have the latest one?

(latest changelog entry should mention something about keyboards)
Comment 2 James Ogley 2009-05-16 08:12:25 UTC
I still see it with the updated gdm.
Comment 3 James Ogley 2009-05-16 09:29:25 UTC
Also, I get it when I resume from hibernation.

So, yeah. The issue is that you now have a bad setting in gconf. But the good news is that if you start from scratch with a new account, it won't happen anymore.

But we'll need to fix this since all 11.1 users moving to 11.2 will be hit by this :/

This should be fixed in G:F and in G:S:2.26 (when everything will be built).
