When I am instaling linux and use user setting and use help for more inrmation for what is a NIS and LDAP, there are not some interesting and usefull information.

1.instaling openSUSE 11.1
2.user setting
3.open help for info abou NIS and LDAP and tehe is nothing information about that

I think this is about YaST.

Well, if you don't know what NIS/LDAP is, than you don't need to configure it. To find out more, there's a section in the user guide (paper/pdf)
