Sorry no way ... ask upstream and you'll see there is no way. I've tried to strip and drop a lot of stuff in history and got a lot of bugzillas about missing features of TeXLive. too bad. Now you replace that bugzillas with bugs about not having texlive on the DVD. What a deal Sorry ... I've tried to get a TeTeX scheme into TeXLive which is much smaller then nearly all and this had been accepted by the developer community of TeXLive but not by the users its self. As you do a drop of some of the features you'll hurt a user. AFAIK debian has also nearly all but more sub packages but this would not help to save disk space but only increase the questions about missing fonts (as the user does not install fonts). *** Bug 521567 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** If anyone has a problem with that please report it upstream as there is no way to skip any of the TeX/LaTeX files included in TeXLive without destroying part of the package its self ... *** Bug 521567 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
