Description Forgotten User nMWAKfvAAV 2009-07-12 14:16:52 UTC
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Konqueror/3.5; Linux) KHTML/3.5.9 (like Gecko) SUSE

Can not connect to SSH deamon, in fact no SSH deamon is running.

The system is a openSuse 11.2-Factory-Milestone-3 running as a Xen Guest on AMD-64.

The KDE System Monitor shows no process named "sshd", however the Yast module SSHD-configuration was run. (The Yast module showed an error that it can't open port in firewall.)

Port 22 was opened with Yast-Firewall module.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
This is from Xen Dom0 to Factory system, which runs as Xen guest:
eike@lixie:~> ssh 192.168.1.105
ssh: connect to host 192.168.1.105 port 22: Connection refused

The same happens when I connect to localhost on the Factory system itself (through Xen's graphical console, can't paste message). It fails with "Connection refused".
