Juergen, you have been looking in using the bugzilla interfaces. What is possible? Bugzilla is indeed cumbersome to use for our Community. It was customized to the needs of several Novell business units and not for opensuse. The suggested improvement is possible by enabling bugzilla's own bugreporting wizard: preferences -> general -> Use Guided form -> on. would normally bring up this wizard. With the Novell bugzilla setup, that openSUSE currently shares, this preference-setting has no effect, unfortunately. AJ, do we want to deviate from Novell-standards to enable better community support? If so, this may be a topic for Klaas and team? We're using the guided form by default already for non-novell folks. Run it yourself: https://bugzilla.novell.com/enter_bug.cgi?classification=All&product=openSUSE%2011.2&submit=submit&cv_foundby=Development&format=guided Ladislav, can tell us more about the KDE tool, please? No reaction for more than 30 days, therefore resolving as NORESPONSE. Feel free to reopen once you have supplied the requested information and can reproduce the issue with current openSUSE (12.1/12.2). Fedora KDE desktop appears to have something that calls itself 'Automatic Bug Reporting Tool' http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/kde/2012-January/011078.html |
