The KNetworkManager applet for KDE4 shows what resembles a disconnected ethernet cable when in fact the cable is connected and active.
This could make users think that they've accidentally pulled the cable.

I'd suggest a plugged ethernet cable as the icon that must be shown.

We've added some new temporary icons for 11.2 including a connected cable.
