I know about this minor usability issue when I added the test functionality to the existing Connection Wizard code. The printer manufacturer is irrelevant when testing the connections so that it should not be required to test the connection. There is no simple fix (button placement has nothing to do with it) but the whole logic of the code would need to be reworked a bit. Therefore it will not be fixed for openSUSE 11.2 but at the earliest for the next openSUSE version if time permits. Well, from the user perspective it would change if the button was displaced, because s(he) fills the fields in the top down order, so the problem would not appear. Fixed in YaST SVN revision 59529. *** Bug 558227 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
