Description Scott Reeves 2009-09-16 16:19:25 UTC
flash-player 10.0 now talks safely with alsa even when the alsa plugin being used is pulse. libflashsupport is not useful anymore and can actually cause problems.
Comment 1 Stephan Kulow 2009-09-16 18:41:01 UTC
what should I remove? I can't find any *flashsuppport* rpm on the DVD and it's not listed in patterns either.
Comment 2 Stephan Kulow 2009-09-18 18:43:34 UTC
just drop it and make flash-player obsolete it
Comment 3 Klaus Kämpf 2009-10-01 15:36:18 UTC
Raising prio as "zypper dup" reinstalls libflashsupport while upgrading to M8 thus breaking flashplayer/amarok playing sound
Comment 4 Scott Reeves 2009-10-01 17:13:01 UTC
submitted to multimedia:apps - request #21516

Dirk - from the changelog you appear to maintain this package - could you accept and forward on to Factory
Comment 5 Dirk Mueller 2009-10-13 09:25:54 UTC
forwarded, thanks for fixing it. I also added an obsolete on libflashsupport-32bit
