I have installed OpenSUSE 11.2 M7 to a notebook Toshiba Satellite S3000-601.

The first start of the system after the installation process is very slow,
because there are several tries to access a non present floppy drive fd0.

Later system starts do not have this delay.

Note:
This notebook has a media bay. It can hold a DVD drive or a floppy drive.
Currently the DVD drive is attached to the media bay.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install OpenSUSE 11.2 M7
2. After the installation process observe first system start
Deactivate the green splash screen with the ESC key.
   The error messages
   end_request: I/O error, dev fd0, sector 0
   show up several times.
3. After the first start check /var/log/boot.msg
4. Restart system and compare /var/log/boot.msg with step 3
Actual Results:
The first system start after the installation process is very slow. Later system starts are much faster.

Expected Results:
The system should stop probing for the non present floppy drive faster.
