Description Christian Boltz 2009-09-22 21:42:29 UTC
yast2-ncurses: -devel package has different license:

# zgrep 'yast2-ncurses.*License:' ARCHIVES.gz # shortened
yast2-ncurses-2.18.10-1.9.x86_64.rpm: License: GPL v2 or later
yast2-ncurses-devel-2.18.10-1.9.x86_64.rpm: License: YaST License
yast2-ncurses-pkg-2.18.4-1.13.x86_64.rpm: License: GPL v2 or later

Is there a special reason why the yast2-ncurses-devel package still has the "YaST License" while the main package is GPL?

This looks at least strange...
Comment 1 Gabriele Mohr 2009-10-06 08:20:20 UTC
The spec file generated from YaST SVN doesn't set the license to YaST License. Must be done later, maybe was set wrongly in former pdb?
Rudi, could you please have a look?

should be fixed with the next check-in of yast2-ncurses.
yes, probably caused by an old import of pdb data to ldb.
