1. Boot Live CD in VESA Mode to see Messages..
2. when X.Org started there is a Black Screen.
3. i can`t change to another Console...
4. so i can only try the Power Button to reboot the System...

it seems it is the same Problem that was in Milestone 8

i have a radeon X1950


ps: why not use the radeon driver? must it be radeonhd?

I can`t provide a xorg log. I don`t installed the LiveCD. I don`t know howto provide a log from a hanging Live System...?! 

I had start in init  3 then startx. then the system freeze and i can`t change to an other console...

Right, for providing logs you would need to install the system. Hopefully we have a X1950 available for testing and can investigate that issue.

I'have now tested rc2.. the same.. i can only use the system if i boot in init 3 setup the xorg with sax2 -m 0=radeon..

This issue is probably fixed.

Hm, the log certainly wasn't complete.

Can you ssh into the machine, and start X with 'X -verbose 7 -retro :0' remotely?
And then post the last 10 or so lines of output.
