Hm, worksforme. Or are you trying this on Qt control centre? (the graphical menu) Created attachment 323448 [details] This is where I'm trying it. (In reply to comment #1) > Hm, worksforme. Or are you trying this on Qt control centre? (the graphical > menu) I tried it on three different systems: -64 bit installed from DVD -64 bit installed from HTTP - compiz 0.8.2 added, but did not steal Shift+F8 -32 bit KDE live CD I've pressed Shift+F8 in all three systems but I was not prompted for a filename as described in http://en.opensuse.org/Bugs/YaST#I_reported_a_YaST2_bug.2C_and_now_I_am_asked_to_.22attach_y2logs.22._What_does_that_mean.2C_and_how_do_I_do_that.3F IC ... Technically, this is a dupe of bug #225707. The functionality was there in the old (Qt3) CC. I didn't port it to Qt4 version as I thought nobody really wants/uses it *grin* :) (low prio though, strictly speaking this is adding a feature and that would certainly not be accepted into 11.2 at this point of time) Log saver re-activated Will appear in Factory soonish, use YaST:Head repo ( http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/YaST:/Head/openSUSE_11.2 ) if you want to test in 11.2. |
