Currently there shouldn't be Java plugins found for the openSUSE repos.
At which stage you get this message exactly? Before you get a choice or when you selected a certain plugin to install? Which plugin have you chosen in that case?

The selection choices

It shows up after I select a certain plugin to install. I think it is Sun one. See the attached screenshot.

Ok, partly as I expected. We currently don't offer a package from ourselves. You see that by looking at the icon in front of the package. If it an openSUSE logo it should invoke yast and install an RPM and if it's just a world icon it's using mozilla.com's suggestion.
It should still do something but throwing an error message though.
I need to check but it could be that something changed which makes choosing an upstream suggestion break.

I think the error dialog is the only wrong thing in that case. After you clicked it away you get another page to install manually.
The Java plugin which is offered upstream can only be installed manually so you get the same with Firefox from mozilla.com. Just the error dialog is superfluous and wrong in that case.
I'll fix it in susefox' trunk version immediately and see if it's possible to get into 11.2 final.
