Created attachment 324059 [details] Xorg logs User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090909 SUSE/3.5.3-3.2 Firefox/3.5.3 Using the system tray icon for configuring display in GNOME to rotate the screen leads to a desktop with no mouse pointer. Items are selected, etc. but the mouse cursor itself remains missing even after previous settings are restored. Happens whether or not using desktop effects. But while using desktop effects, mouse pointer is easily restored by trying for example Alt+Tab to switch to a running app. When not using desktop effects, log out nd log in is the only option. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Click on display icon applet in system tray 2.Select upside down or left or right 3. Actual Results: In the rotated screen there is no mouse pointer. Even after restoring to previous (unrotated) screen there is no mouse pointer. Expected Results: Mouse pointer should not disappear
