it appears to be problem with video driver
it is possible to switch to text console

Steps to Reproduce:
1.just start it
2.wait
3.blank screen

I did some more testing and it appears that the problem is related to (incorrect) handling of high monitor resolutions.

It appears that when "normal" resolution monitor is connected - graphical mode works fine

only when Gateway XHD3000 monitor is connected with native resolution of 2560x1600 than screen remains blank.


I will include related hardware info soon.

Same Problem for different Users on different Notebooks / Graphics
