Description Juergen Weigert 2009-11-05 18:42:42 UTC
I used the yellow "gnome foot" to open the panel menu, and dragged the panel with
the '+ Screen Edge' button from top edge to bottom edge. It flickered horribly and attempted a vertical layout covering half of the screen until it finally snapped into the intended horizontal layout at the bottom of the screen.

Afterwards the system tray space was much smaller, and the icons were cluttered ontop of each other...

Any hint how to make it uncluttered again?
Moving the icons around does not help. Those that belong into the systemtray move as one unit.

rcnetwork restart
unclutters the icons, as the knetworkmanager icon disappears and reappears.

Hi there!

I'm helping with a cleanup of KDE bugs that are from obsolete versions or may no longer be valid. This is so the developers can focus on developing openSUSE 11.3

Here is some information about this:

http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-kde/2010-02/msg00015.html
http://en.opensuse.org/KDE/BugSquashing

***
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=222616 is similar.

I found it worked okay for me in 11.2 final KDE4.4 but will mark it as upstream as per the above bug.

Cheers
Steve
