zypper shows during downloading the speed as [37% (796,15 K/s)] or after downloading as (643,3 K/s). This is not a clear indication. Is it bytes or bits? Is it bytes, B should be used in the units. Is it bits, b should be used. K is also unclear, is it 1000 or 1024? If it is 1000 than k would be proper; is it 1024 than Ki would be better.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:

Thanx for reporting! Agreed, the latest zypper (1.2.x in openSUSE 11.2) already shows KiB, MiB, or B.
